There are some buyers out there that believe by going directly through the listing agent, they will be saving a lot of money on their purchase. What they are not considering is that the listing agent already has a commission structure in place that won’t be changing whether or not a buyer’s agent is involved. True—sometimes there is a small discount in this scenario...but really, you think you’re winning by getting a small discount?

In this market, you need a buyer’s agent to find you a home that is well below market value. An agent that will take you directly to the bargain...or directly to a home that is not even on the market yet. You need a buyer’s agent to schedule showings, help you write offers, help you navigate the lending process, help you through the inspection process, help you get to the closing table. I will do all these things for you...for FREE! That’s right– you don’t pay me a dime to do all these services. When considering a buyer’s agent, ask them about their transaction fees. Some agents want you to come out of pocket several hundred dollars; I will never ask for a penny from you.
